Offered here is a vintage show halter. It has sterling filigree mountings and nothing has changed from the original owner. He told us he bought this halter in his teens, and he was in his mid 40's when we purchased it from him. That puts it somewhere around 30 years old. This halter is not in new condition but it is in real nice used condition. The leather is soft and pliable with no cracking. It does show signs of use scuffs, abrasions, and such. The stitching looks good and the nickel plated halter hardware shows some rust spots as shown in the pictures. It has a 6 foot leather lead snapped to about a 2 foot chain, which attaches it to the halter. The nice Sterling mounts look perfect and could be polished up to look brand new, but I don't like to take the patina off from a vintage piece so I will leave that up to you. The silver mountings and buckles off from another show halter sold for 239 dollars plus shipping on Ebay in October 07. I have that printed out and can email it to you if you would like to see it. This is a nice piece and I hate to let it go but thats what we are in the business for.
